I love the look of muslin for a relaxed, country or primitive look. I use it for backs when I want something cheap. I also like to bleach it, and tea or coffee stain it.

This is my BOM from a few years back. Buggy Barn Star Struck and Unbleached cotton. I need to take a pic of the back since it was pieced with unbleached and leftover fabrics and blocks.

No, it isn't the pattern. It was just a happy mistake. It started out as an irish chain, but with mistakes and turning the blocks this is how it turned out. Believe me, if you look closely you will see a bunch of mistakes, but all in all I love the way it turned out for my first quilt. Fortunately, I learned a lot during the process and all my quilts after this one are much better.

    Thanks Glenn:
I never worry about the quilt police. I'm sure I'd have been imprisoned many times over if they ever caught me. I just do my own thing and haven't really been disappointed yet. I don't think any of my quilts are show quality so I'm really not worried about the quilt police. Again, thanks Glenn. I do hope I've improved tho as that one was my very first and I have done many since then.

Not to knock my own quilt, but that really isn't that great of a photo. There are many different fabrics in it, but it's hard to tell from the photo. I will try to retake the pic and post a better one showing the detail.
