My "no diamonds" Lone Star

Blue Chicken how big are your triangles? I tend to like the country prints and don't lean toward the marbles and batiks. I wondered how yours turned out within each piece. How does each indivuidual triangle look?
I am finding it harder and harder to find the country tiny prints and have resisted using hand dyed type cottons but I may have to experiment with them.
I don't know if this makes sense but because I do such small stuff I have to keep in mind what is left in the square after it is all done. Is there any print or design to see? or is it all one color with nothing interesting to see.

The blocks are 9 inches finished. I tried making them smaller but it would have been quite fiddly and the end result would be quite small too.
This is a piece of the centre star.

I can't wait either! lol
I couldn't figure out how to use the focus fabric without cutting it too small, and it wasn't till I saw a medallion quilt in a magazine that it clicked... the focus could be the border and the inside could be the coordinating colours. Then when I saw pam's version (which was stunning) it all just clicked.
I have quite a few projects I "have" to get done, and this is my "want". So when I'm feeling stuck and unmotivated, I'm doing just one block of this to get motivated again. And then putting it aside to finish the ones I have to do. So it will be a while :-)
