My Almost Bow-Tie, 10 minute quilt block

I had all these blocks made when it dawned on me, that bow ties have the center matching the rest of the tie! Oh Well, as my son said, it looks good as it is. These blocks were 5 inch blocks. The blocks squared out at 9 inches. I am going to do another one sometime that really is "Bow-Tie."
It is backed with fleece which I turned to the front to make the outside border.

I think it's adorable!!!!! Any way you do a bow-tie quilt- it's one of my favorites :D

Really like your quilt and the size of the blocks. I have the book, but have only tried a few differnet sizes. Thanks for the incentive.

I made 2 in no time. Mine was scrappy with kid things. Gave one to the nurse at school and I am keeping the other for myself when grandkids come over. They are so fun and easy. I used 6 1/2 inch squares. I do need to take a picture of the one I kept and figure out how to put it on here.
