10 minute blks, 5 minute blks & 1 minute blks -5 inch charms
#1

I should call them that. i made up some 10 minute blks with some five inch charms. not as easy as using 10 inch layer cake squares i must tell you.
so after making several, i made some and didn't fold out the sew in rectangle on both sides, just folded it over to one side and ended up with a nice folded flying geese.
then just had some charms already sewn into twos and added other twos to make four patch blks.

look up the 10 minute block here.

and then view the youtube link. it's great.
instead of unfolding the sewn in rectangle (sq folded into rectangle) on both sides to sew into the seam, just fold it all to one side and stitch. it unfolds into a flying geese. just thicker to sew through.
the fleece qlt was made from the corners i cut out of larger fleece quilts/blankets where you cut fringe and tie two layers together.
