    @Tartan - yes, that was how she suggested doing it but I don't like duvets so I used the comforter as my batting and sewed the top and back right to it.

    Awww I love those colors and the piping looks beautiful. I have often pondered a quilt duvet but haven't tried to force my mom to make one yet haha. While frustrating and a pain, you can say you DID IT! And sometimes it takes people to push us to try new things even when we don't want to.
