My biggest challenge to date
I made this quilt top for my oldest daughter, then she decided she wanted it on top of a comforter......what a challenge this was.
She also wanted piping instead of binding...had to order a special foot for my machine to do that...what a pain. I will never make another like this.

Great color and love your pattern, I have an easy way to make my own piped binding if you are interested, i have been doing it for a few years now, that is usually how I bind because I don't like hand binding, to time consuming for me.

.....in other words, she wanted a duvet cover? Your top is beautiful and the piping is a nice touch. Our children still think we can hang the moon, don't they? Isn't it great when you can fulfill their expectations?

I would love a tutorial on this binding method, and I think others would like it too. Love this quilt too.
