    Default My DGD's First quilt

My DGD is visiting me from Tacoma, WA and she made and quilted her first quilt today. She even used my Tin Lizzie. Her quilt will be a gift for her little brother when she goes home. Tomorrow we start a quilt for her little sister. We are considering this visit our vacation, we can do anything we want and have fun doing it.

Her first quilt is beautiful and so is she. What a wonderful way to spend your "vacation" with her.

Wow, she is good. Did all in one day? I can't do that. I stop too many times. she will be loved very much by the other kids.

Great job on a beautiful quilt!!! I love to see young sewers and what they are learning. It is a life skill that she will use for the rest of her life. Good for you, too, Grandma, teaching her.

I think that is wonderful, grammy. Just such a joy for me to see these young girls and boys sewing. and the memories you are creating by teaching them to sew. Bless you and hope you continue to have fun.
