What a lovely sewing space. I'll bet the view in spring time is fabulous! I would never leave that room if I had it!

Hey Joey-thank you so much for your compliments. It's always nice to find another nurse here (I'm finding lots!)

Well, the room is pretty self-contained. However, LOL--no bathroom yet. When we finally finish the remainder of the lower level, I'll not only have a bathroom a mere few steps away, but also a small kitchenette behind the bar. I told the DH that he might never see me if we get that done! LOL

Have fun in your new dedicated studio! Make sure that you post pics when you get it done.
One thing the DH plans on doing yet for me is to add shelves above the two windows in here so that I can place my nick-nacks, etc. Got to use every bit of space that I can!

We're going to purchase a "storage shed"---a large one--- and fix it up as my sewing/quilting studio. It will have windows and I will have a view of the pasture! I will also be able to get everything out of my bedrooms so they can become bedrooms again and my closet will go back to being a closet. It won't be as spacious as your beautiful area, but I'm looking forward to it. Retirement is great! Good luck with your nursing.
