I just wanted to show off my last quilt. I call it my first "real" quilt as it was machine quilted by someone with a longarm. Previously, I quilted by machine and everything was sort of ... off.

It's very simple with large whole-cloth pieces. I hope you like!

The view is what inspired the quilt! I usually work with darker colors but I wanted something green for the springtime. The fabric is shot cotton, so the colors are really very beautiful in person. They almost shift like a dupioni silk as you walk around the room. The quilted line really brings out the different colors in the warp/weft. I'm hooked on shot cottons now!

I love the fabric and the design is excellent. Very contemporary, without being banal....So many contemporary quilts kind of "miss" on originality...Not yours Jared....Love it!

Love it ! And isn't it nice to get exactly what YOU want isntead of what someone in a foreign country thinks WE want :lol: Thats why I love quilting . Keep up the great work
