You should be excited to show it off. It's fantastic! You've done a great job on your first quilt. And, doesn't it feel wonderful to get a quilt finished? I know I love that feeling..... You go, girl. This is a great hobby...... and it keeps you out of trouble... at least it's keeping me out of trouble...... and so much fun.

You did a great job from choice of fabrics! to putting to together, to quilting all the way to your binding. It's a terrific little quilt and you shoud be happy as heck about it. Your friend will love it and so will Sis when you get hers done.
Ps your SIDis pretty damn good beginner or not :-)
