    This was my first quilt done in 1984. Back then it was all done by hand. To use a machine, was not quilting!
    Definitely not the way I quilt now. I don't to anything by hand. I machine piece and applique. Then I use my long arm to quilt. It was fun to take the class back then to learn how and I love the hand quilting but, I would never get anything done if I didn't use a machine.

    Not a very good pix. Wish you could see each block better and the detailed hand quilting.

    This was your first quilt?? Wow! Those are some pretty advanced blocks for a first timer. Was it hand pieced as well?
