Default 1984 fabric finally in a quilt top!

My eldest daughter picked the fabrics for a quilt in 1984. I didn't (and still don't) like the color combination (cheddar with those blues and that yellow just didn't "light my fire"). Also I was still working full time and was making clothing. The time for quilting just wasn't always there. I decided to stash bust in 2013, so I pulled it out of the closet. Disappearing 4 patch starting with 8" squares seemed like a fast top! It was. Now I need to find a backing fabric. Then it will be in the mail to Oklahoma. Finished size 82 by 82 and not a scrap of fabric left! Thanks for looking.

Love the colors in this, I think they are great together. And the pattern was a great choice. I'd say " job well done". Your daughter is gonna love it!

I think it's great! I love the way those cheddar rectangles seem to float in the background.

The fabric pattern Reminds me of the strech knits polyesters from the 60's I can see why it wouldn't of been your favorite fabric and it wouldn't of been my favorite either, but with that being said. You did a wonderful job with the fabric and the quilt top. The pattern you picked goes well with the fabric. Hope she loves it. And a big ^5 (high five) for tackling it and finishing it into a great quilt.
