What a wonderful surprise is in store for your daughter. I made a pink princess quilt for my GD, and pink is my least favorite color so I understand how you feel. However working with a color we dislike sometimes opens us up to being more willing to include new colors in our color choices. It is wonderful putting a new twist on the 1980s and "modern" quilts today.

I really like it. I am sure that your daughter will LOVE it. She probably has forgotten about picking out this fabric, so this will be a plesant surprize for her. BrendaK

1984 to 2013 Sounds like some of my doings! I love the colors and pattern you chose. She should be very happy with it.

Love the simplicity in the pattern! It just shows the fabric to perfection. Beautiful.
