This is my first quilt so I am really thrilled to have it completed. My patient husband went with me to every fabric and quilt shop in the area and even a few out of town helping me find just the right materials for each block. I was too nervous to try to quilt it myself so I had a lovely lady with a long arm do it for me. Hopefully I will be brave enough to quilt the next one. Yes - there will be a next one. I have been watching this site for months and just joined yesterday and everyone has been so friendly. Wish I had joined earlier.

This is just too cute and fun. What an awesome job you did! I love the detail of all the cat occupations. So is this fusible applique? How did you do the detail of the cats faces is it embroidery? I know I am so nosey! I love the technical details. I am so glad you decided to come out of lurkdom to share this great cat quilt.
