The hardest quilt I've done so far and it was my first, don't look to close for the applique is not that good, it was fun and frustrating. I havn't attempted an applique quilt again but I will, there are beautiful applique patterns out there. Comments are welcomed.

Well now, let's see... Your Dresden Plates are beautiful, your fabric/color choices are gorgeous and well balanced, the border appliques are exquisite!! I guess you did ok for a beginner... step it up next time will ya?

You have everything to be proud of, and no reason for shame!! If this is your first, you just raised the bar for the "experienced". Beautiful quilt & great work!!!

Thank you so much. This was all scrap material except for the yellow background. My nieces pick out the scraps for me.

Beautiful quilt and excellent for a first! I believe you are a natural quilter. Is the applique done on the machine or by hand? Barb C.

I absolutely love the color combination. It looks like a very cheerful quilt, with a little bit of imp in it. I can imagine the quilt playing tricks on you, or hiding things.

I personally can't believe that is your first quilt! It is lovely. Maybe you should keep those neices handy to pick fabric for you. LOL
