    Alice, the picture is great but does not show how beautiful the colors are, you did one heck of a job and deserve to be very proud of all your work ! I am glad I was along with you on this your first of many beautiful and successful quilts ! I watched you and marveled at your determination ! I don't know anyone that would have made a King Size Quilt for a first project and finished it the way you did.... Betty

    you are right, it doesn't look like a beginner pattern - you did a fantistic job, don't tell it is your first, and no one will guess
