if we could all quilt perfectly the first try out there would be no room to grow. what fun would that be? every quilt we make we learn something new, try new techniques and just have fun. just remember, no one is perfect. a friend of mine and I look at the quilts in the magazines, look real close, some corners don't meet perfectly, so that tells you even the pros aren't perfect. just enjoy the process

It is lovely and bright. Mistakes...... only you see them and if you take two steps backwards, they are minimized. Anyway, as long as we learn from our mistakes, all is well. Now we are waiting for your next show-and-tell.

I have been sewing a long, long time. Quilting, not so long. Just the other day I thought, now how in the world do I make that mistake AGAIN. We are our own worst critics because we KNOW where EVERY little boo boo is. No one else does (usually) unless we point it out. Just keep going and you will gain so much confidence and know-how. This quilt looks great from where I am sitting. The colors go well together. Please share your next project with us--and quickly. Remember we didn't learn to walk proficiently in one day.

I have a sign in my studio that says: There are no rules. There are no mistakes. If I make a mistake I can fix it. But, again, there are no rules! As stated before, only you will know of the mistake, the labor of love will always shine thru & no one else will notice. You did a great job, keep posting more of your work.
