    Great job. The kids love it and that is what counts. My first quilt, I used 5/8 inch seam allowances and polyester blend fabrics. I made it for my DD when she was 3 and she still has it. She's 40 now. She still loves it and uses it. The poor thing has been mended several times. It's been loved to death and that is why we quilt.

    We all learn from our mistakes, and as far as I am concerned we don't make mistakes just artistic choices. And, besides, the kids love it.

    Looks like a real quilt to me! I like the colors and the pattern - is it a 10 min block made with 10 inch squares?
    the backing looks so comfy too!

    Yes it is too a real quilt. I count anything that uses fabric and thread. It came out great.
