Welcome to the board! It's a great looking quilt. What size is it?

Congratulations on your finish. It's gorgeous. I really like the way you used those bold prints.

Thank you all so much! I'm hooked for sure

Originally I was going to do a grey border and grey backing, but I couldn't find the right shade of grey. So I went with white and I think I like it better.

I'm having a hard time giving it away but the recipient needs it much more than I do. It's approximately 45x55. The squares (between the seams) are 5" across.

I'm planning one for a birthday present for someone that will match their living room decor that'll be a lap quilt and then I have ideas for one I want to use on our bed. That one I'm really excited about as I'm planning black, white with gold or tan accents. Though I have no idea how I'd get that through the harper space of my machine.

I'm trying to keep it simple so I don't get ahead of myself and get frustrated. To practice some quilting and binding, I made a set of oven mitts, pot holders and skillet handle covers. That had the top and bottom fabric, a layer of insulbrite, and two layers of cotton batting. That was tough lol!
