Beautiful quilt (in the making).... You really know how to do it. Sorry about the challenge DH is facing. Prayers for strength, courage, understanding and faith for both of you. Sometimes life just isn't fair. But, when love is present, it is a better place. You have that!! God's blessings..

I love this design- and letting scraps "roam free"- I have a hard time doing that but always love the results when others do it. you are doing a wonderful job on this, and it is great your DH is enjoying the process with you.

It is a beautiful quilt, makes me think about starting a scrappy quilt from leftover fabric from the many family reunion quilts I have made over the last several years. I've saved all the scraps and we'll see how big I can make it. I'm not going to tell my family I'm making it in case it doesn't come out well, although after seeing your quilt and all the other scrappy quilts on this site, how can it not be pretty. Thanks for sharing and I love the layout you settled on. Your husband will be in my prayers. I have a friend whose husband has an inoperable brain tumor and he is holding his own. There is always hope in prayer. God bless.

Oops, I forgot to ask what size your squares and HST were, if you would like to share.
