Both are beautiful! How do you quilt a bargello? I was wondering if you just stitch in the ditch since a quilt motiff might be too competitive with the beautiful bargello design?

Those are beautiful! I intend to try a bargello when I get around to it, but I have a lot of other things I want to try first. Anybody got some round-to-its they can spare? LOL!

Thank you for the pep talk!!!! I REALLY want to do a bargello, and a friend and I were just talking about 2 weeks ago about starting to watch for classes. But then I found some patterns online, and we decided that after Christmas, we are going to get together and each make one. We don't need no steenkin' class!!!! We can do this!!! And your pep talk reinforces my resolve!!! : )

    Hi,
The bargello heart pattern is in the book by Nancy Podolsky. "BARGELLO HEARTS" Easy to remember, huh? However, there may be other books available with the same pattern.
