Just checking in here for inspiration as I am planning a mini DWR. This one is a keeper and I hope, at some point, you get to keep 'er! Beautiful!

When I retired I received a cash collection in lieu of a gift. I was not sure at the time what I wanted as I am one who wants something to remember the occasion by instead of just spending it. I thought about it for a while and discovered I had enough to have a Mennonite lady in Shipshawana make me a dwr and I treasure it. When I saw your picture I noticed that the lady who did mine quilted the center in the same pattern. I am sure you treasure yours, I have heard stories of my grandmother quilting but never saw any of her quilts. It is my understanding that they were all done for church raffles. I did not start to quilt until later in life and never thought of asking her about quilting as I was not interested in it at that time of my live. I hope you get to have it one of these days..
