Default My (hopefully) last memory quilt, feed sack material

I've already posted my first memory quilt, which I did for myself. I inherited a bag full of feed sack material from my grandmother, who passed away two years ago. I had so much fun making the throw for myself and quilting my memories in it, that I also did one for three of my grandma's children. This is the last one I did, and also the best. I say the best, because I learned from all the others. What I specifically like about it is that I used a solid backing and quilted the words on the back of it. So now their names, dates, and the applique patches (which my grandmother made) are on the front, and when you flip it over, the memories are on the back. Each quilt I made has memories specific to the person. I asked each family to submit their own memories and I quilted their own words in their quilt. This was so special because it allowed me a glimpse of my special grandparents from different viewpoints. Hope you enjoy this too.
