What a great selection of quilts! I Spy quilts are so much fun to make, aren't' they?

    Default Charming Addition I-Spy Quilts

Some of my on-line friends sent me their scraps of kids and novelty fabrics and I made some Charming Addition quilts to add to my guild's donation quilts. I reworked the pattern to save having to make so many seams. It also makes the quilt much quicker to put together. I made these five quilts over a period of four days.

When I cleaned up my cutting area, I had a lot of strips (1-1/2" to 3") and so I made this quilt.

This is my version of the block. I made the blocks out of 3" x 8" strips and 3" squares.

The layout is fairly easy, but a design wall makes it a little easier. Sorry about the graphic, but my drawing program wasn't co-operating.

Lovely quilts. I love making I SPY quilts and I love giving them away. My friends let me know almost immediately if a new blessing is coming to their house.

Thank you for sharing your pattern. I printed it for future reference. I like the use of this pattern with the novelty fabrics. Sure to keep a kid busy playing "I spy"!
