That looks so cool... like the distinction...
These were exactly my thoughts, I'm a LA quilter. I'll attach a picture of a quilt I'm working on where I am only quilting the light areas, which make the other areas look raised. I will SID all the rest of the seams on my quilt. Your quilt top is really beautiful!
