For a quilt that is 42 x 52 (finished), you will want to use squares that are 10 7/8, making 10" squares (finished). Top and bottom inner borders are 5" x 40" (finished).

I do love that pattern. I have used it many times with great novelty fabrics. the foster kids seem to really love them.
