This is Hailey's Birthday quilt (well the top so far LOL). She'll be on Friday, her party is on Sat. So, I'll be sewing my fingers to the bone to get 'er done. When I asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she told me " I'm ALLLLlllll about the ponies Gamma" So this quilt will be named It's All About the Ponies.

I did crayon blocks, added some glitter fabric dimension paint to highlight some of the details.

And a BIG THANKS to in2stitchin for the oh so cute MLP fabric, it worked out perfectly for a special Pony Birthday pillow case (and throw pillow if I have enough time LOL)


(The dark purple fabric around the outside is the backing fabric)

Here is the pillow case and the individual blocks. I made coloring book pages into hot iron transfers, ironed on freezer paper, colored the blocks, then ironed it out. After a quick wash in warm water to remove any remaining wax, I applied the fabric glitter paint.

The colors are way off. I think it's because the light in my room isn't the best!! All the colors are wayyyy brighter than they show in these pics.
