That is awsome! Thanks for sharing! Someday I want to try a bargello. Is it hard to decide what colors you need?

OMG I love it!!! and love the colors too.

It is Mirage by Dereck C. Lockwood. It was in Beautiful Bargello by House of White Birches. I'm sure you could find easier ones to start on where you start out with one strip of colors and just move them up or down one color at a time (kind of like BizzieLizzies avatar. A simple one to begin with). But, I wanted something with a little challenge. (My first quilt ever was a Grandmother's fan. LOL)
I used basically the colors he used although his look like they are solid colors so I was hoping my prints would work.
I have seen them quilted with just straight lines in each color path and I've seen them quilted with feathers and pebbles, etc. I kind of want something in-between.

I like how you took the design past the white strips. It really is very striking now. Plain white border would have been WRONG!! :-o
