Default My Mom's Sunbonnet Sue Blocks

My 90-year old Mom was looking through some of her things and found these quilt blocks. There are six total and three are finished or partially finished. All the black work is hand stitched including the satin stitch. I'm encouraging her to finish them but she doesn't do much hand work anymore. I'm sure these date back to the 40s. Don't you just love those vintage fabrics.

Would definitely be nice to see them finished. I'm amazed at how many different "Sue" styles there are. I had not seen this one before.

Oh, those are wonderful. Hope someone will finish them up and put together. If not, they would make a wonderful picture.

Beautiful Sues. I hope you can get the rest finished and made into a quilt. I love the Sues.
