Cookie Monster, I've purchased six or more sewing machines on E-bay. So far I have never had a problem. Just make sure to check the sellers out(reviews). I've gotten some really good deals. I always, also, look closely at the pictures. If you decide to buy off of E-Bay, good luck!

Is it light and easy to travel with? I am thinking of getting a smaller machine to take to classes.

I have purchased many machines on E Bay and have always been satisfied except with one and E Bay made it right with us.

Jmoore, it is very light and it sews a beautiful stitch. I usually take "Pinkie" to sewing dates. These machines are built by Janome. There are white ones too. The pink ones are fairly hard to find...the blue, easier. They're just such sweet little machines and I'm so pleased to have them! Search Kenmore Sew Mini sewing machines.

I have one just like it!! Mine's name is Baby Blue. The only thing I don't like is that the light strobes a little when the thread take-up lever passes it as it goes up and down. Enjoy your "boy"!
