    I found this on craigslist for 100 and I'll be bringing her home Sunday! her owner passed and the family is downsizing. yes its a sphinx
    I was told shes from the 1890s and is a treadle in beautiful condition from what I can see in the photos.
    I'm so excited, I have not even test driven her so I'm praying she works
    Thank you for your compliments and for all your photos and postings.
    Any idea what shes really worth? I am curious i know i got a bargin

    I'll bet she'll work just fine - and gosh, is it ever pretty - those look like the "sphinx" decals on it - I don't think I've ever seen a 15 with those decals.

    You're in for some real fun! :) What a great machine to treadle!

    gorgeous!!!!!! you can go to www.singerco.com and there is a place where you can put in the serial number and it will help you date the machine.
