I also have this same model and have quilted over 30 quilts on it (even a few queen size). I really love the space between the needle and body, so much room for rolling up the quilt and passing it thru!!! Have used a few of the quilting stitches but mostly use the one that's row 2, #12, the curves, and just go along the seams.

It works great and really looks good on the quilts! Have fun and enjoy, don't be afraid! And yes, she is a beauty!!

You will love this machine - I have a Sapphire 875Q - you will get used to no take down lever - when mine goes to the shop for cleaning - I have the hardest time remembering the lever. Also, it has the hover action when you stop sewing so you can quickly turn your fabric for corners, etc. I love the cutter and the needle up/down. I am excited for you this is a great machine. Have fun.

I got the Husqvarna Topaz 20 a few months ago and the best thing I did for myself was take a few lessons. There are so many features on these machines that we could never find them on our own! I love this machine though! I'm so happy for you... now get busy!!

I have an older Viking but absolutely love it. So glad DH talked me into spending that much $$ at the time.
