Congrats on getting a HV machine. I have Vikings and absolutely love everything about them. I have a Diamond for embroidery (large throat space too), the Topaz 30, also the large throat space, Designer SE, and the Designer I. My favorite thing about Vikings is that the feet and bobbins are all interchangeable. And the self-threading needle, and auto presser foot lift...and....and.....

Enjoy! I have the Husqvarna Viking Platinum and (right now, anyway...) she is my primary machine. I just love her!
