Welcome to the Quilting Board!

Wow! She's beautiful!!!
Oh I love Amelia! She's soooo cute and she has such personality!
I really can spell though...should be "pleased"...
What a beautiful doll, did you paint her facial features? Do you have a pattern???
Amelia is so beautiful. do you plan on making more? they would make good collective dolls for grandchildren, or any child.
Thanks everyone, she was fun to make.
Maggie - I used Prismacolor colored pencils for her eyes and lips and regular eyeshadow and blush. The pattern is from the March 2009 issue of Soft Dolls and Animals! magazine. I made her clothing removable and sewed on her hair using a curved needle (much easier!) because I don't like to glue things and she may get tired of wearing the same old thing. ;)
Grandma - she may have a cousin in her future. I also like to make at least two of the same doll as I learn so much from the first one, not to mention the ideas and details I think of during the process.
And she has fingers! How cool is that. Very pretty ...
Oh! When can I expect the mailman to deliver her??
She's beautiful Nancy!!
