Default My "Not a Flag" Quilt

Went to a retreat at Needle in a Haystack in February with Jenny Doan. One of the projects was a wall hanging size flag. I did not want a flag, since I had one already, so decided to do something a little different. I started with two charm packs (only about 32 in each). It just kept growing and growing; I think I used 6 or 7 before I was done. My 13 year old granddaughter decided it should be a quilt for her. I hated to put a lot more money in it, so my sewing buddy went to the sale shelf at our favorite LQS on our sew day and found the borders. It's pretty wild, but Annaka (my DGD) loves it!

What a great quilt! I love the colors and the border is wonderful. No wonder your granddaughter wants it.
