This first pic is my very first "quilt" made back in 1973 or so. I just used 2 sheets, a lightweight batt and tied it and rolled over the edges. Not sure if it would be called a quilt or a blanket. The second pic is what I call my Divorce Therapy Quilt. It kept me busy and got me through some rough patches.

Isn't quilting wonderful? You never know what you can do until you try, and even if you do it 'wrong', it still right! And as far as therapy...it's the BEST!

    You do such wonderful piecing!

The first quilt looks fantastic beings how it will be 38 years old this year. The checkers are perfect. I shy away from them.

I love the colors in the second quilt! What a great job you did.

    Thanks for sharing.

Love your color choices on both. So bright and cheerful in spite of the circumstances!
