Hope the picture is attached. This is my first time posting here.

I've finally finished it! (It's only taken a little over 2 years.) I'm the queen of procrastination. The real kicker is that she won't put it on her bed...she wants to wait until she gets her new curtains and pillow shams made and makes the rest of the room 'pretty' to go with it. Go figure.

Oh so pretty! Have to laugh about her need to get the room pretty to go with the quilt. I guess she likes it huh? LOL :-)

Just like a Mom to save it for good. Use it now you never know what the future holds...

Wow, that's gorgeous! Great job - if I was your mom, I'd think it was worth the 2+ year wait. :)

Dear whereaminow?

You are about 2+ hours north of me! ☺ I'm in Hobbs. Went to ENMU from 67-70. Not from Hobbs, but DH was raised here. He had been teaching at the University of the SOuthwest until he was laid off this past year. Still lookingfor a job.

Welcome to the Board. I think you'll find plenty to inspire you, get your quilty juices flowing, learn loads of tricks, & tips abound. Tutorials are really interesting.

Found the Disappearing 4-Patch and am now making a lap quilt with 25 of these little cuties for the prison program. Yes, I really do "quilt with convicts". They are locked down this week - don't know why. Gave me time to sew those blocks together.

VERY NICE !

How about going to your mom's house - take the blankets off her bed and put the quilt on. Tell her to use it as motivation to get the rest of the room in tip-top shape. Tell her You want Her to ENJOY it NOW!!!! Tell her WE said so too! LOL

Awesome job. Did you do the quilting?
