    Terrific!! I've made a few little projects from scraps at random like that - it's so much fun. Never did such a big one though - kudos to you!

    Dumb question I know, but what pattern did you use? I thought maybe a crazy block or string. It looks beautiful.

    garysgal - They are constructed like a crazy block, though I didn't follow any specific layout pattern for them. I've done enough crazy quilts that I'm very familiar with the method. I sewed the smaller pieces together to make bigger pieces, the size you'd use with a crazy quilt, and then sewed them together. I used the scraps I had, and let them dictate what I ended up with.

    If someone wants layouts for crazy blocks - this is a good site. I'm use these for another project I'm working on (and have been for over a year now).
