I LOVE the QAYG method!!! So much easier than trying to push a large quilt through a standard sewing machine to quilt it. I have a 7" opening on my Janome, a very tight work area to feed a large quilt through.
I had so many scraps, I am glad I could use them up this way. The blocks are not laid out how I want them....I put them on the bed to see what it would look like so far. My daughter's comforter got ruined, so I making this for them as a replacement.
You are doing a great job! Your colors are very well arranged, but likely you can play with the layout some more.

Will be watching for a picture of the finished quilt and your impressions after finishing it. Was it the way to go? May want to try it.

Really like your blocks so far and a great way to use up not-so-big scraps.
Can't wait to see the finished quilt.

That pattern would be great as an I Spy. Like what you did. Thanks for sharing. Can we see a picture after it's finished? BrendaK
