Default my second coin quilt

I have made a quilt with this pattern several years ago and it is my favorite one. My friend wants the same quilt. Having some leftover fabric I made this one and although it is such a simple pattern I had so much trouble making it. First, I wanted the color pieces to lined up and one would think that because they are the same size they would line up perfectly, not so for me, thus ripping several long white pieces and starting all over. Second, for some reason, I decided to quilt coin strips first, what a bad idea, that created problem when it came to quilt the white long strips. Third, once I washed it, it looks like it was bunching on me on the bottom. Might have to redo it. Anyway, I like the colors, I like the simplicity of this quilt but maybe I was in too much of a hurry and not thinking though each step. Too confident?

I really like it and I think it looks great. It looks like it’s ready to be loved by someone special.

It turned out beautifully. Sorry for the problems, none show in the pic.

Sometimes the simplest designs give us the most trouble. But often those simple designs are also the most beautiful. I'm sure your friend will be thrilled with this beautiful quilt.

I've not made many quilts but the one I tried with a jelly roll was a mess: my 1/4" seams were NOT consistent and the strips were not either.
Fortunately the fabric patterns are so busy no one will ever notice, especially the person who will receive it next fall…
I like yours a lot - I'd be happy to curl up with it and a good book...

I think it came out fine. I bet those bunches will relax after a bit. Don't worry.

If your friend doesn't love it, please send it to me because I do. It's lovely!
