I made this quilt for my sister last winter. However I couldn't post until after Christmas because she is also a member on this board. Don't look too close at the pinwheels. All points don't match. It was my first project of this kind. Learned lots--like I hate triangles! I have since learned of better ways to make them. She loved it though and that is all that counts.

Your quilt looks great with all the scrappy colors. Love it.

I love all of the colors in this!! I think you did a great job. I haven't tackled triangles yet.

sunflower126, just want to give you a pearl of wisdom that I received from my very best buddy that taught me this disease (quilting). Rene says:

"If the quilt is not going into the Smithsonian, and it isn't featured on Antiques Road Show, then perfection is in the eye of the beholder". In lay man terms, it isn't that serious. If your sister enjoys the quilt, then go with it. I did my first pinwheel and used stripes-wrong answer! I showed it to my husband, who promptly pointed out the stripes that were going in the wrong direction. I still do pinwheels, but don't use stripes.

The quilt is beautiful.

Very pretty..... I just love scrappy quilts. Your sister has to be so proud!! What a wonderful gift! I think all of us have had problems with triangles over time..... it's so pretty that perfectly matching points will never be an issue.... LOVE IT!
