This is one of the first projects I teach my beginning 4H sewists. I heard from several parents that their kids made tissue holders for every family member and friend for Christmas gifts. One mom travels a lot and gives the holders as thank you gifts.

Auntevie - I buy the tissue packages at the Dollar Store. There are 8 rectangular packs for $1 and those fit the holder perfectly.

We had a family friend hand them out at her wedding. (For those people that never bring a tissue - it was a wonderful idea and we all loved it.)
