This is one of the first projects I teach my beginning 4H sewists. I heard from several parents that their kids made tissue holders for every family member and friend for Christmas gifts. One mom travels a lot and gives the holders as thank you gifts.
Auntevie - I buy the tissue packages at the Dollar Store. There are 8 rectangular packs for $1 and those fit the holder perfectly.

Very cute! Have been wanting to make these. Thanks for posting yours. Love the butterfly fabric you used, think I have some of that in my stash. Bearland53, thanks for sharing the info for a pattern, have it bookmarked.
