Default my guild challenge quilt

my guild's challenge is a small quilt representing a song title or phrase. I've been overwhelmed with time demands but wanted to participate and decided on the Bob Seger song "Against the Wind"--this is suppose to represent my DD and her beloved, former horse Lady. I could not find a good picture of the 2 of them cantering so decided to modify a picture of a Native American warrior running on a paint (Lady was a paint horse, too). the picture horse is probably NOT an Arabian like Lady--but think my daughter will love it after the challenge anyway! Used lots of thread and then did some lite coloring with my Derwent Inktense pencils.

If you are gifting it to her, I am sure she will be delighted with this lovely quilt of memories of days gone by.
