This is a picture of my first quilt-it is a Friendship Star pattern and there are lots and lots of mistakes but I am proud of getting it completed. I learned a lot from making it and will make sure I line up the blocks better next time. I went for easy with the quilting-my next goal is to tackle FMQ but I am a little nervous about it.

My son Jacob and cat Karma in background-it is his quilt

Awesome work, and your son looks very proud of his quilt :thumbup: Great design also, love it and you did so good :D

Congradulations!!!! You did a wonderful job. I am sure that your son can see no mistakes....only the love in what MOM made just for him. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing with us. Jacob made sure his head was in the pic. You did a great job for first time. How else can we learn, except by our mistakes? The most important lesson was that you finished your first quilt. Lots of folks throw them in the corner & never finish. Your Son doesn't know the difference & the Cat thinks it's awesome. Don't you speak Cat-ese? TTUL.
