    I have two nephews in the Australian Navy and I would be proud to have made them something like this.
    Lovely. Hooked me totally when I read "Brisbane, Australia" especially as we just moved to Queensland 12 mths ago (Brisbane is the capitol of Queensland for those who don't know)

    Navy wife (retired 4/1) here. I've seen those career quilts before, and yours is really nice.

    May I ask where you got the Navy Fabric, with the ships and patches on it?

    I am so sorry for all you have been through! The quilt is wonderful and sure to be a family heirloom. I am sure all the thought you put into it to customize it for him will really touch him!

    Very very nice quilt. He will treasure it. And I don't think it'll be too big. Many people have king beds now. I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle.
