I finished piecing the top with all my floral fabric and I don't have a clue what to use for a border. Looked at a couple LQS's but didn't see anything that I liked. Suggestions please. I took the picture of quilt on my bed, I have the quilt that's on there tucked into the side rail so it all looks a little strange.

Do you have any fabric that's in the quilt?? I think it would be pretty with a floral border

No I don't, I bought most of the fabric at Whittles in Ky and only bought half yard of each.

Since it's all floral, what about a leafy green, possibly a batik. Something that "hints" at a leaf pattern. I wouldn't use a busy pattern - I think it would detract from your florals.

I think a solid of one of the colors in the quilt like maybe the light green.

I vote for a batik, anything that matches a predominate color in the top. I would make it wide also.

It looks like purple is your signature color and I'd just make the border out of another purple fabric. Either have it be a solid and do some near quilting in it or a print in the purple shades. It's a lovely quilt.

I too like the idea of piano keys, but I would match as many colors in the quilt. It wouldn't have to be the same pattern as in the quilt, but contrasting colors that is in the florals with black in between each color & then another black border. By the way, your quilt is beautiful.
