Default New bom, I've finished the January block!

I found this darling free bom, thanks to the thread posted by jeafro12305. You can find it here http://aprilmaedesigns.com/?page-id=51 in the tutorials. I used a free motion zigzag stitch on the snowman, not 100% pleased with it, but I'm not a totally raw edge type, so I had to do something, and I wanted to keep the whimsical feeling and somewhat primitive style. I had a bit of trouble with the pattern pieces printing out too small for the 6 1/2 inch cut background block, see how the sun doesn't quite fill in the whole upper left side? The gap will fall into the seam allowance, so it's no biggie. I had to recut the snow to get it to work too. Not sure if it was just my printer or what. I think this will be a really fun bom, easy too, I made the block in just a couple of hours, so I should be able to keep up with it.

Great job! The same pattern but you made yours unique! I looked at jeafro12305 list of BOMs too. So many to chose from. The Hello Sun one is adorable! Can't wait to see what the rest of the blocks look like!
