    I making this quilt for my husband's aunt and uncle. I wanted to know what you think of it and what color should I use for the borders? Thanks

    Thank you. I have a dark blue or a lavender but I think that I would need to use purple darker than lavender.

    i agree, dark purple or blue...
    what about black, (black seems to make everything stand out....

    Would it look okay if I use the black as the outer border and a royal blue as the backing?
