If you take 2 of your scraps from cutting the triangles, and sew them together matching the straight of grain sides, you can re cut these into smaller 60 degree triangles & have an even scrappier look!

A marvelous example showing how simple strip piecing can be absolutely fabulous. Your quilt is awesome. This is a good way to reduce the overflowing scrap bins.
Right now I am working on a spiderweb quilt in the hopes of reducing my scraps. The quilt will have to be as big as the moon at the rate my scraps are disappearing. The fun is in seeing all the fabrics I have used over the past fifteen years and making something useful with them.
