A few days ago I posted about ruining my favorite pair of small scissors on a banner project for my grandson's Scout pack. Well, it was finished at 6:00 a.m. this morning. It's going to FedEx in just a little while. It is made out of felt and the gray backgound is 'quilted' onto gray duck cloth for extra strength. Thank goodness for paper-backed craft bond!! Used up 6 yards of it gluing down all the letters and other stuff along with about 1/4 bottle of craft glue. It measures about 68" wide by 42" tall. Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out so I thought I would share this with you.

A 6am finish makes it sound like you were working through the night. Were you?

Nice work. It looks 100% professional.

Yes, I did work through this last night. The project was started with the design stage about 9 days ago and I thought it was finished 24 hours ago. But, I didn not like my first attempt at the Boy Scouts of America emblem so started over on that. And I SIL noticed that I had the top line reading "Cub Scouts Pack 23" rather than "Cub Scout Pack 23" -- so I had to take that off and fix it. Let me tell you, that craft bond stuff works really well -- too well if you need to remove something!!
